You know doc. your not just a teacher for me, you're a catechist who always remind the students to remember God and put Him always in our hearts. You're like a mother, who never fails to support and believe to her sons and daughters.
Your teachings and knowledge about the social dimensions on Education, I know, that it would really contribute a lot to me and to others for us to become future educators. It is an advantage that we get a chance to have micro-teaching. . Aside from it makes us experience what a teacher is, it also builds our confidence and self-esteem. I really appreciate this subject. It builds me up and form me. It gives importance not only to our profession but to our future students.
Thank you and may God Bless you always!

Dear Dr. De Vera,
"Enthusiasm is infectious, stimulating and attractive to others". Students will surely go for you and with you. Enthusiasm is a gift. It glows and intensifies. The previous discussions every meeting have been given much attention. Your excellent quality teaching created an emotional and intellectual climate conducive to learning.
The significant learnings coupled with exciting and wonderful memories remain.
Now,I realized as it has been impressed in my mind, being a mentor as a career demand and daunting task ahead but likewise the deep satisfaction and enjoyment that emanate from both.
Thank you for the best of time, efort, wisdom and knowledge. My sicerest thank you.

Honestly speaking, I've learned a lot from you.The learnings that I've learned from you is a great help for me not only as a future educator but it will also be a help for me to be a better student, to strive hard in my studies despite of the problems that preoccupied me. It has been a great opportunity for me that I'm under in your class in social dimensions of educ., and malikhaing pagsulat because you've been a good inspiration to us specially that most of us are scholars in st.paul...You've been a good model for us because every start of the class discussion, you always see to it that there is an inspirational message from the bible that keep us to be mindful that we should put first God in every activities that we have. Thank you for always reminding us Doc that God is always with us...

Hope that God will give you good health and your family also so that you will inspire more students specially that you are now the CCPD Coordinator. Dear Dr. de Vera,

The significant learnings I got from this course go beyond the theories and facts that we've discussed in the classroom. It is a learning that cannot be found in any written material nor in any website on the internet. It's a realization of oneself, of life and of the significance of all of these things that we are studying in our life now and in the future. All of these are gifts from God. All the challenges I experienced by becoming a student again, the trials and the success are all learning experiences that I will bring with me for the rest of my life. God is truly great that He makes us experience the beauty of life, whether its ups or downs, happy or sad, everything will equate to what life is all about.
I'd like to thank you for the inspiration and the guidance you've given all of us. It is welcoming to know that there are still educators whose passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to their craft remain over years of service.

Doc. deve,
In class together we have traveled back in time to fully understand the history of education in our country, have studied the influence of the foreign people who had made significant contributions to the kind of education that we have now, discussed the different types of curriculum and at the same time enriched our spirituality by reading the Purpose Driven Life. It was indeed a bountiful discussion. For that I thank you.
I admire your passion and dedication in teaching. I have learned to value myself more as a person and as a future educator. You have geared us with the knowledge that a true educator should know and enlightened the passion in our hearts. We, your students will be forever grateful.

Dear Dr. De Vera,
Greetings of peace and love!

I am so grateful to be one of your students since I was first year when I took up FIL 01. You thought us many inspiring lessons which we can apply in our daily lives and so with our works in the near future. To be your student is a great learning opportunity because you teaches effectively and with application of what we are learning in the class. I did not found it hard to cope up in your class because you always make it sure that everyone can share their thoughts or ideas, and you made me feel that I belong in the class.

Our class in Social Dimensions Of Education is very helpful to me as educator in the near future. In class, you train us how to teach in front of the class through "microteaching". You explained to us the importance of patience and understanding especially in interacting to our students in the near future. I also learned how to solve conflict and apply it class.

You are really a great and kind teacher because you understand our situation as GIA scholars. You are always there to remind us to study hard and work for the best. As we always say in the class,.."simply the best!" I know that big letter "T" which stands for "Tagumpay" will happen if I study and work hard.

In our class, you always inspire us through inspirational messages from the bible. We are not just focusing in our topic but also we drawn nearer to God. For me, you are one of the persons who inspire me to study well.

Thank you Doc! May God bless you!

Your student,
Juliet Dagangon

Doc you have been more than a teacher to me. You have inspired me to do my best and you believed in me, even though sometimes I don't believe in myself. Thank you for always understanding us. You have made me fully realize the value of education and you made me fully aware of my responsibilities as a student and as a daughter. May you continue to inspire people like me..

deAr doc'. .
A good day to you,.=)
This comment will be all about our reflection from the lessons and very fun teaching in FIL04.
tHIS subject was one of the best subjects I really enjoy. .never in that moment I felt bored, inactive, sleepy or even a waste of time.Every moment was a moment of teaching, learning, practicing and laughing!haha!..We always start our lessons with the "pampasiglang puso", then, we would always relate it to the our profeesion. At first, it was just nothing to me. It was just like a practice of praying somrthing like that, but each and everyday I came to apply my experience from the message of God.. Honestly, I became more faithful,. became more believer of God and became more greatful that God is really present not only in that subject but as well as to everyday lives.
Aside from the "pampasiglang puso" that I really enjoy, I'm always excited what activity are we going to have for every day.=D I learned from it. . . so much..that we came to apply it in our lives=).
Thank you doc. your such a blessing to us..may we become succesful teachers so that we may able to make you proud. . someday..somehow..
thank you!

Dear Dr. De Vera,

I would like to apologize first if my entry here is a bit late. I was sick again of some sort and I was bed-ridden for 1 week. You always tell us that to be a good teacher is not just about the knowledge you share, but also on how to be strong for your students, both physically and mentally. Taking care of one's health is essential to be able to do things with vigor and enthusiasm. All of us can do better, we just need proper nurturing from our parents, teachers and loved ones. Thank you for being one of them, who always supports us not just in school but in life itself. =) More power and Godbless!

Doc, I still want to comment…
this comment is out of requirement, project or even part of my grade…this comment is to let you know that I am so grateful to have you as my TEACHER…because you make me discover and realize the true meaning of a term “TEACHER”. Thank you for the inspirational message and for simply being there…
…and
Maybe you weren’t looking,
When you make me smile and laugh every time you made a joke…
Maybe you weren’t looking,
When my eyes get big because of the amusement to the character that you have shown unto me…
Maybe you weren’t looking,
When my face lighten up because of the encouragement that you have given to me…
MAYBE you weren’t looking after all,
But I want to let you know that I treasure and admire you…
Because once I see your face, I always remember how beautiful life is,
TO HAVE YOU AS A TEACHER!!!
THANK YOU, DOC.!
